A Post Graduate in Mathematics from Department of Mathematics , Nagpur University , she is also a Gold Medalist and a Post Graduate in Education from Department of Education, Barkatullah University, Bhopal. She has over 10 years of experience in teaching in leading schools of Bhopal and Noida like Carmel Convent School ,Campion Boys School, Sapphire International and JSS public School. Her passion for education and unwavering commitment towards optimising student success, however, made her quit her regular school job and take up social work as a full time occupation. She has been working for the education of children belonging to the economically challenged section of the society for the last 10 years. She is also a Certified volunteer from Department of Education, Delhi/ MacMillan and British Council and has volunteered in Government school of Delhi as a Spoken English Teacher. She has presented a paper on “ELT as a Challenge or an Opportunity” at ELT Conference 2019 organized by Basic Education Deptt, Gautam Buddha Nagar, UP. She has completed the training workshop in Jolly Phonics which is a fun and child centred approach to teaching literacy through synthetic phonics. She also received a certificate of appreciation in 2021 for her active contribution towards the socio-environmental well-being of NOIDA. On 8 th March 2022 she received yet another achievement award from Noida Women forum for her contributions towards social cause.

A Postgraduate in Economics from Dr. Rammanohar Lohia Avadh University, Sudha is passionate to work for the cause and care of disadvantaged children helping them in receiving improved quality education, opportunities to grow and excelling in their life with no limitations. Since last two decades moving around the world mainly in developing and undeveloped countries, Sudha has got good exposure of the work done by NGOs and the United Nations Organizations in the development sector, which has further strengthened her determination to work for the children and women; and try her best towards inclusive and equitable quality education and promote learning opportunities in the schools providing basic education in India. While being abroad, she was teaching in IB Schools, running the classes after school hours and on weekends to teach the children and women extra curriculum activities and developing their hobbies, helping them to achieve their full human potential. Her experience in the IB schools has helped her in clearly identifying the gap between the private and government schools in India. Driven by passion and strong determination to contribute in her capacity to the mission of Saakshar Hum Foundation, Sudha has given up her academic career in IB schools to work full time for the children and women, and projects supported by the Foundation at the grassroots level. Kanchan Gupta holds a postgraduate degree in Sociology from Patna University, a B.Ed. from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, and an MBA in HR from Sikkim Manipal University. She is deeply committed to empowering girls through education and improving their health outcomes, believing strongly in the transformative power of education. Throughout her career, Kanchan has initiated and led impactful programs focusing on advancing girls' education and health. She engages passionately with girls in government schools, educating them about their fundamental rights to education and health. Through interactive sessions and workshops, She equips girls with the knowledge and skills to overcome challenges and advocate for themselves within their communities. Kanchan implements practical measures to improve access to education and healthcare services for girls, collaborating effectively with local authorities and community leaders to foster sustainable change and elevate the status of girls in society. Driven by a vision of inclusive growth and development, Kanchan is dedicated to empowering girls in various schools running in Dadri, Bisrakh, Greater Noida etc. regions under the Government of Uttar Pradesh, ensuring they have the opportunities to achieve their full potential. Her unwavering commitment and passion lead her to collaborate closely with NGO Sakshar Hum Foundation, where She contributes her expertise to uplift and empower girls through education and holistic development initiatives. I hold an MSc in Chemistry and a BEd, and have always had a deep passion for teaching. My extensive experience in the field of education has equipped me with the skills and insight necessary to make a significant impact. I am committed to Saakshar Hum because I want to give back to society. Over the past few years, I have dedicated myself to this organization, driven by my love for interacting with children and my belief in the transformative power of education. Versatile Experience spanning 38 years in Power, Transmission, Industry, Oil & Gas etc and international projects and Corporate management. Served as Director (Human Resources) in Board of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, a Maharatna company. Also held part time Board positions of Chairman- DDKPL (Dada Dhuniwale Khandwa Power Limited, a Joint venture of BHEL and MP Power Generating Company Limited) and Part time Director - NBPPL (NTPC- BHEL Power Projects Pvt. Limited), a Joint Venture of NTPC and BHEL. Major awards and recognition received: - Golden Peacock award in Environment Management - HR Super Achievers Award to CHRO (Dir HR) by World HRD Congress - PSE Excellence Award 2016 for Human Resource Management Excellence and contribution of women in PSEs by Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC). - Vayoshreshtha Samman 2017 for Best PSU in promoting the wellbeing and welfare of senior citizens presented by Hon'ble President of India.
