Annual Day Celebration

Saakshar Hum Annual Days are a reason for great fervour for the whole team. The year’s hard work is showcased in the annual day.

Annual Day, December 20th 2020: Saakshar Hum Foundation celebrated completion of its School English Project in 2019-20 in government schools. The function, which was a first of its kind, was done completely in English by a total of 100 participants from 8 schools of GB Nagar. Retired Major General Chadda was the guest of honour. A. BSA Mr. Ved Prakash Gupta and District Coordinator Training Mr. Surya Prakash Rai from Basic Education Department came as our esteemed guests. We were also fortunate to have Principals and teachers from the participating schools coming and gracing the occasion.

Annual Day – Samman Samaroh, December: Post Covid we had a felicitation ceremony for all educators who had been tirelessly working during the toughest of times. This was a day meant for all Saakshar Hum Educator volunteers, who selflessly devoted their time and expertise and helped the cause. They conducted online sessions with students, guided our interns, and provided support in many ways.

The occasion also acknowledged the collaborative journey with various well-wishers, patrons, seniors, students, and supporters including Rajeswary Thyagarajan, Sunita Khatana, Mahesh Saxena ji of Noidalokmanch, Vibha, Anand Mohan sir of Noida Horticulture, ABSA, the Basic Education Department of GB Nagar, and Udaar Foundation. The felicitated educators included Sudhashree Kukreti, Ritu Sagar Mishra, Hemlata Tarani, Seema Raj, Meenakshi Gadoodia, Cheena Jain, Geetanjali Arora, Ne Seth, Miti Airon, Sudha Trivedi, and Ruchika Choudhary.
