I first met Sunil five years ago, an eleven-year-old who used to come to the park where I taught. What struck me from the start was his notebooks — every subject, every exercise complete, even in an English-medium school where he barely understood the language yet. He never needed to be told to study; he would just sit down after school and work through the day’s lessons on his own. That discipline carried him all the way to strong results in his board exams. He is the eldest in his family, and he dreams of becoming a businessman.
